Executive Directors’ Note:
Welcome to the Community Care Bruins (CCB) website, formerly known as China Care Bruins! Hailey and Selena are both fourth year undergraduate students at UCLA and serve as the executive directors for CCB this year. We both joined CCB during our freshman year at UCLA, and since then, CCB has given us the opportunity to connect with our LA community through mentorship, fundraising, and outreach. This club has become a family to us, and we are so excited to serve our community this upcoming school year!

CCB is a mentorship program between UCLA students and international adoptees living in Southern California. We hold two to three events here on our university’s campus every quarter. Through our mentorship system, we strive to create a welcoming environment for the youth to feel comfortable being themselves and meet other adoptees and their families.

As we enter the 18th year of CCB, we are looking forward to the memories ahead of us and our wonderful community!

Updates:

18th year of China Care Bruins!

We can’t believe it’s been 18 years since CCB was established at UCLA! CCB started out with 7 little buddies and 10 college volunteers. Now, our organization has expanded to about 40 little buddies and 55 college volunteers. Along with our mentorship program, we have incorporated fundraising, outreach, and social activities. Here’s to another great year and the years to come!
